Easter is traditionally a very busy time for entanglements and this year is no different. Our volunteers have been busy rescuing cormorants, darters, pelicans and the occasional swan with fish hooks and line around them. We have also had some sporadic cases of botulism mainly in pelicans. These cases always take a lot of work to bring back from the brink of death but are very rewarding when we manage to save a bird.
