Fiona O’Sullivan
President
Fiona is a retired geologist who was an independent carer for 25 years before joining WASR in 2016. She was also a neonatal nurse for 20 years before changing careers, bringing those skills to caring for wildlife (bush birds, possums and quenda, now seabirds and waterbirds).
Since joining WASR Fiona has been Treasurer for 4 years and is now in her 2nd year as President. Fiona has played an active role in the legislative management of WASR as a charity and fundraising.
She is a home carer with WASR, taking in a wide range of species from storm petrels to albatross, grebes, swamphens, penguins, darters, cormorants, pelicans and whatever needs care. She has a very soft spot for baby herons and spoonbills.
